The party’s Secretary General, Mia Golam Porwar, went to the Secretariat on Wednesday morning to formally extend the invitation.
Speaking to reporters after meeting the Prime Minister, Porwar said the iftar programme will be held on February 28 at 5:00 pm (local time) at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center.
He added that the Prime Minister accepted the invitation warmly and expressed his appreciation for the gesture.
