Opposition Leader Dr. Shafiqur Rahman Extends Eid Greetings via Video Message

On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the Leader of the Opposition and Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, has issued a special video message addressing the nation and Bangladeshis living abroad.

In his message delivered Friday evening, Dr. Rahman expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah following the month-long fasting of Ramadan. He emphasized that the essence of Ramadan lies in achieving self-restraint and "Taqwa" (God-consciousness).

The Opposition Leader called for fostering an environment of mutual respect, love, and responsibility within society. He specifically urged those serving in various state capacities to perform their duties with integrity and the fear of Allah. Concluding his address, Dr. Rahman prayed for the peace, prosperity, and divine blessings of Bangladesh, wishing everyone a healthy and long life.
