PM Tarique Rahman Pays Courtesy Call on President Mohammed Shahabuddin

On the occasion of Independence and National Day, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman held a courtesy meeting with President Mohammed Shahabuddin at the Bangabhaban this evening.

This Thursday (March 26), following a series of national events, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman visited the President to exchange greetings. Earlier in the day, both leaders paid their respects at the National Memorial in Savar, honoring the martyrs of the 1971 Liberation War. After the wreath-laying ceremony and a formal Guard of Honor by the armed forces, the Prime Minister also laid a separate wreath as the Chairman of the BNP alongside senior party leaders. During the evening meeting at the presidential palace, the two leaders discussed matters of national importance and shared their visions for the country's progress on this historic day.
