Singapore Firms Show Interest in Modernizing Bangladesh Airport Services

Singapore-based companies CrimsonLogic and Enterprise Singapore have expressed interest in supporting the modernization of Bangladesh’s airport services, particularly in developing an Advanced Passenger Information System (APIS) and aviation revenue management systems.

The matter was discussed during a courtesy meeting between Derek Loh Eu-Tse, Singapore’s ambassador to Bangladesh, and Afroza Khanam, adviser to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism.

The meeting took place on Monday at the ministry’s conference room at the Bangladesh Secretariat. During the discussion, both sides emphasized strengthening bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Singapore.

Ambassador Derek Loh highlighted the interest of the Singapore-based firms in helping modernize Bangladesh’s airport services through the implementation of APIS and improved aviation revenue management systems.

Afroza Khanam expressed Bangladesh’s interest in working jointly with Singapore to further develop the country’s aviation sector.

The two sides also discussed potential cooperation in the tourism sector under public-private partnership (PPP) models.
