Bangladesh, US Reaffirm Stronger Bilateral Partnership

Bangladesh and the United States have reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral partnership in areas of mutual interest.

The discussion took place during a meeting between Bangladesh’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Shama Obaed Islam, and U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs S. Paul Kapur at the U.S. State Department on Monday, according to a message received in Dhaka today.

During the meeting, both sides discussed bilateral cooperation and a range of issues related to shared interests. They also emphasized the importance of expanding Bangladesh-U.S. engagement across multiple sectors.

The two parties further reiterated their commitment to advancing the long-standing partnership between the two countries through enhanced cooperation and constructive engagement.
