Jamaat Ameer Shafiqur Rahman to Leave for Hajj on Wednesday

The information was confirmed in a press release sent to the media by the party on Tuesday.

According to the statement, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman will depart from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on a flight scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.

The party expressed hope that, if all goes according to plan, he will return to Bangladesh on June 1 after completing the Hajj pilgrimage.

Ahead of the journey, the Jamaat chief sought prayers from the people of the country.
