PM Tarique Rahman Extends Eid-ul-Adha Greetings to Muslims Worldwide

With just one day remaining before the celebration of Eid al-Adha in Bangladesh, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has extended his greetings to Muslims across the country and around the world.

The prime minister shared the message on Tuesday through a post on his verified Facebook page.

In his message, Tarique Rahman said, “The holy Eid-ul-Adha has once again arrived at the doorstep of the global Muslim community, reminding everyone of the supreme sacrifice, the glorious guidance of taqwa, and the unique message of self-purification. On this blessed occasion, I extend Eid Mubarak to all Muslims in the country and around the world.”

He added that Muslims in Bangladesh and across the globe are preparing to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha inspired by the spirit of sacrifice.

“The glorious festival of Islam is not merely a celebration of joy, but also carries an eternal message of deep faith in the Creator, devotion, and sacrifice. The unwavering faith, unconditional obedience, and supreme sacrifice demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) in pursuit of Allah’s satisfaction have made this day profoundly meaningful and revered among the global Muslim Ummah,” he wrote.

Offering prayers on the occasion of the holy Eid, the prime minister said, “May Allah accept our sacrifices and grant peace, security, and stability to our motherland, the Muslim world, and all humanity.”

He also prayed for global peace, harmony, and security.

Concluding his message, Tarique Rahman said, “May this holy Eid-ul-Adha shine with the glory of sacrifice. May Allah accept our Qurbani and acts of worship, and fill our lives with peace and prosperity through His infinite mercy and blessings.”
