In a statement issued on Friday (19 December), China’s Ministry of Commerce said the Indian measures provide unfair competitive advantages to domestic industries, harming China’s interests.
According to Beijing, the tariffs and subsidies violate WTO rules.
The Ministry of Commerce further said China has once again urged India to honor its commitments under the WTO framework and called for the immediate correction of what it described as “incorrect policies.”
