The public relations wing of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the launch of a new phase of military operations, claiming to have carried out coordinated strikes using 86 missiles and drones.
In a statement, the IRGC said the multi-pronged operation, named “Sunday Dawn,” targeted U.S. military bases located in Iraq, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. The identified locations include bases in Victoria, Arifjan, and the Prince Sultan Air Base in Al Kharj.
According to the statement, the primary objective of the attacks was to hit American “aerial and drone operation infrastructure and weapons storage facilities.”
The IRGC further claimed that the operation also targeted what it described as “secret bases” of U.S. and Israeli forces in multiple locations, including Negev, Tel Aviv, Erbil, Bahrain, and Abu Dhabi, where the Al Dhafra Air Base is located.
The statement did not provide independent verification of the extent of damage or casualties resulting from the attacks.
