Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman faces severe security threats following a wave of lethal missile and drone strikes conducted by Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels.

The recent devastating attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh resulted in substantial casualties and significant operational disruptions. In response to the heightened risk, the 41-year-old leader has been withdrawn from public view and relocated among heavily fortified, bunker-equipped royal palaces under elite guard protection.

As defense interceptor stockpiles deplete rapidly amid relentless aerial strikes, Riyadh has approached international partners including France, the UK, Pakistan, and Egypt for military aid. The targeted strikes on aviation infrastructure have paralyzed normal operations, forcing the cancellation of nearly sixty percent of scheduled flights in the capital. While regional diplomatic channels remain open to de-escalate tensions, Saudi authorities have warned that their military counter-response will match the severity of the threat.
