Renessa Cultural Group Hosts Iftar Mahfil in Michigan

The Renessa Cultural Group organized an Iftar Mahfil with the participation of cultural members in the state of Michigan.

The event was held on Saturday at Rannaghor Restaurant in the city of Warren. It was presided over by Renessa Director, artist Shafiqul Islam Rubel, while Assistant Director Sulaiman Al Mahmud served as the host.

Renessa Advisor Shahinul Islam attended the program as the chief guest and delivered a speech. Invited guests included Dr. Raihanul Islam Ziaul Haque and Farid Ahmed Shiblu, who also addressed the audience.

The program began with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an by Hafez Mominul Islam. Members of the Renessa artists’ group later presented a heartfelt nasheed in chorus.

Speakers noted that sharing Iftar during the holy month of Ramadan is not limited to a meal, but serves as a symbol of brotherhood, harmony, and unity.

A special prayer was conducted before Iftar by Renessa Advisor Anwar Hossain. Cultural activists present at the event appreciated the initiative and expressed hope that such Mahfils would continue in the future.
