The Orange County Chapter of the Muslim Ummah of North America - MUNA organized its annual Eid Picnic on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Modjeska Park in California.

The daylong event, held under MUNA's West Zone, brought together more than 300 members of the Bangladeshi community, including men, women, youth, and children. The festive gathering was marked by a warm atmosphere of unity, joy, and community spirit.

The program was attended by MUNA National Assistant Executive Director Anisur Rahman as the chief guest. Special guests included MUNA West Zone President Abdul Mannan, Vice President Ashraf Hossain Akbar, Secretary Abdul Malek, West Zone Family Development and Women Coordinator Professor Ali Akbar, Young Sisters of MUNA National Director Professor Rokeya Rahman, Valley Chapter President Wazed Hasan Javed, Hollywood Chapter President Ismail Hossain, Los Angeles Chapter President Harun Or Rashid, along with other MUNA leaders from different levels of the organization.

Participants enjoyed a variety of food throughout the day. The event also featured numerous sports and recreational competitions for children, teenagers, and adults, creating an enjoyable experience for attendees of all ages.

The picnic concluded with an awards ceremony recognizing the winners of the various competitions. The ceremony was presided over by MUNA Orange County Chapter President Enamul Haque, while Chapter Secretary Md. Al Mamun served as the master of ceremonies.
