Special Initiative by Hollywood Mosque to Inspire Children with Love for the Qur’an

Continuing its annual tradition, Hollywood Mosque has organized a Qur’an recitation program for children throughout the holy month of Ramadan this year as well. According to a decision by the Hollywood Mosque Board of Trustees, the program will be held every Friday and Saturday after Maghrib prayers.

Organizers announced that the first session of this year’s recitation program will begin on Friday, February 20, at 6:15 p.m. at the mosque. Students up to 6th grade are eligible to participate. At the end of Ramadan, special prizes will be distributed among all participating children during the final week.

The organizers stated that the main objective of the initiative is to encourage children to develop a love for the Qur’an and strengthen their connection with the mosque.

Ismail Hossain, Coordinator of the Children’s Qur’an Recitation Program, said, “Our goal is to instill love for the Qur’an among children and help them build the habit of regularly attending the mosque. We hope parents will bring their children to the mosque every Friday and Saturday.”

The program will continue throughout the month of Ramadan.
