MUNA Youth successfully organized its first-ever “Dawah Area Program” in Newark, New Jersey, on Sunday, May 10, at Masjid Al-Madina. The event marked an important milestone for the local community, drawing a large turnout of youth, parents, guardians, and community members.

The program began after Maghrib prayer with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, creating a spiritual and uplifting atmosphere. MUNA East Zone Assistant Zonal Youth Director Brother Adil Abdullah addressed the audience, highlighting the importance of Muslim identity, youth engagement, and building strong Islamic environments for younger generations.

Shaykh Eid, Imam of Masjid Al-Madina, also delivered valuable reminders, encouraging young people to remain connected to their faith and community. Both speakers introduced the vision and mission of MUNA Youth and discussed plans to continue organizing beneficial programs and activities in the area.

The event also featured an interactive quiz competition for the youth, with prizes awarded to the top three participants. Organizers said the session created enthusiasm and excitement among attendees while fostering a positive environment for young participants.

Following Salat al-Isha, dinner was served for all attendees, bringing the program to a successful conclusion.

Community members expressed appreciation for the initiative and enthusiasm for future gatherings. Organizers said MUNA Youth plans to hold similar programs in the area on a monthly basis, with hopes of eventually establishing Newark as an official sub-chapter in the future.
