Saudi Arabia Launches Interactive Digital Guide to Enhance Umrah Experience

Saudi Arabia has introduced a new initiative aimed at making the Umrah journey smoother and more convenient for pilgrims. The country’s authorities have launched an integrated interactive digital guide to enhance services in the holy cities and improve the overall worship experience.

According to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the initiative is designed to facilitate access to services in the sacred sites and ensure that pilgrims can perform their rituals with greater ease and comfort.

The digital guide has been released under the “Coming to Umrah” campaign. The initiative is implemented in partnership with the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, as well as the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites.

The primary objective of the initiative is to provide Saudi citizens and expatriates with practical guidance and essential information, enabling them to perform Umrah with confidence and convenience.

The guide offers detailed information about the services and facilities available at the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah. Through interactive maps and direct links, users can easily locate entrances, gates, and key assistance services, making movement within the sacred sites more efficient.

Designed to support pilgrims from the beginning to the end of their journey, the platform provides necessary regulations, advisory information, and practical instructions to help ensure the smooth completion of rituals and seamless travel between important locations.

The guide also includes comprehensive information on Miqat locations and routes to reach them, transportation options between Makkah and Madinah, and internal mobility guidance within both cities, offering a complete reference for the entire pilgrimage.

Additionally, it provides detailed instructions for visiting Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah, including guidance on booking appointments through the Nusuk app. Information on historical landmarks and spiritually enriching sites is also included to help pilgrims deepen their religious experience during their stay.

The content is presented in an engaging and interactive format, featuring visual materials, awareness messages, and direct service links. Organizational and health-related guidelines are also incorporated to ensure that pilgrims can perform their Umrah safely and in an orderly manner.
