Millions Gather at Arafah as Pilgrims Observe Central Ritual of Hajj

The Hajj sermon was delivered at Masjid Namirah by renowned Islamic scholar Shaykh Ali Al-Hudhaifi.

Following the sermon, pilgrims offered Zuhr and Asr prayers in congregation at Masjid Namirah. In accordance with Sunnah practice, the two prayers were performed during the time of Zuhr with one azan and two separate iqamahs.

Pilgrims at the mosque, as well as those staying in nearby tents across the Arafah plain, joined the congregational prayers. Both Zuhr and Asr prayers were shortened to two rakats each (qasr) and performed consecutively.

After the prayers, pilgrims remained engaged in supplication, repentance, and remembrance of Allah until sunset, raising their hands in prayer and seeking forgiveness in an atmosphere filled with emotion and devotion.
