NEWS DESKAt least 53,010 Palestinians have been killed in the ongoing war in Gaza since October 2023, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health on Thursday, May 15, 2025.
The ministry reported that 82 people were killed in Israeli attacks over the past 24 hours, while 152 others were injured. These latest figures bring the total number of casualties to 119,998 in what has been described as Israel's brutal offensive.
"Many victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them," the statement added.
The Israeli military resumed its offensive in the Gaza Strip on March 18, killing 2,876 people and injuring nearly 8,000 others. These attacks have disrupted the ceasefire and prisoner exchange deal that had been in effect since January.
