Aiming for a Nation Where Every Citizen Lives with Dignity: Tarique Rahman

BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has called for building a Bangladesh where every individual can live with self-respect and honor. He made this statement on Friday (January 30) during a wheelchair distribution ceremony for children with special needs, held at a hotel in Bogra city.

The initiative, organized by CSF Global, was spearheaded by Dr. Zubaida Rahman, the spouse of Tarique Rahman. The event was highlighted through the party’s verified Facebook page.

Addressing the audience as the chief guest, Tarique Rahman remarked, "Let us work together to build a country where every person, regardless of their background, can maintain their dignity." Emphasizing the potential of children with special needs, he added that many of them possess unique talents. He believes that if society and the state stand by them, these individuals can emerge as significant contributors to the nation.

Dr. Zubaida Rahman also spoke at the event, reiterating BNP’s commitment to humanitarian values and inclusive national development. During the program, wheelchairs were gifted to ten children with special needs as part of their ongoing support project.
