The 11th Annual National Muslim Advocacy Day 2026 was held on April 20–21 at Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., organized by the U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO).

A total of 1,032 delegates from various states across the United States participated in the two-day program. Among them were 79 representatives from the Muslim Ummah of North America (MUNA), including leaders from different levels of the organization.

As part of the program, delegates held direct meetings with members of the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives. During these meetings, three key issues concerning the Muslim community were highlighted.

These included addressing misconceptions about Shariah and opposing any proposed legislation aimed at restricting it; ensuring the protection of freedom of speech; and calling for an end to endless wars while advocating for the responsible use of taxpayers’ money.

Additionally, delegates urged lawmakers to prevent harassment of innocent individuals by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and to take effective measures to ensure the safe repatriation of Rohingya refugees to their homeland.

It is noteworthy that this annual initiative aims to strengthen the representation of the Muslim community in policymaking and to advocate for their rights and justice.
