MUNA West Zone Hosts Children Award Ceremony & Eid Reunion 2025 in Hollywood

The Children’s Department of Muslim Ummah of North America (MUNA) West Zone successfully organized the “Children Award Ceremony and Eid Reunion Program 2025” in the iconic city of Hollywood, California, drawing participation and admiration from the local Muslim community.

The event began with Dhuhr Salah and a community lunch, followed by a vibrant cultural session featuring beautiful Quran recitations and heart-touching nasheed performances by children and adolescents.

Distinguished attendees included MUNA West Zone President Brother Abdul Mannan, Zonal Education Director Dr. Shariful Islam, along with other key MUNA leaders. MUNA West Zone Children’s Director gave a welcome speech, congratulating the participating children, parents and community members.

At the award ceremony, crests were presented to the first, second and third place winners in the Hifzul Quran, Quran Recitation, Nasheed and Speech competitions.

Parents expressed heartfelt gratitude for such a spiritually uplifting event for children in a city like Hollywood, and encouraged more of such initiatives in the future.

The program concluded with closing remarks and a heartfelt du’a by Dr. Shariful Islam, followed by a joyful cake-cutting celebration with the children.
