Trump Claims U.S. to Build ‘Most Powerful Warship in History’ Named Trump Class

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that the United States is preparing to build the most powerful warship in history, which he says will be named the Trump Class. According to Trump, the vessel will be part of a special naval fleet called the Golden Fleet and will surpass all previously built U.S. warships in size, speed, and combat power.

Speaking about the project, Trump said the new warship would be “one hundred times more powerful” than earlier American naval vessels. He framed the initiative as part of a broader effort to maintain U.S. global dominance and compete militarily with major powers such as Russia and China.

According to Trump’s claims, the Trump Class will be the world’s first guided-missile battleship, capable of carrying nuclear and hypersonic missiles. The primary missions of the vessel would include power projection, conducting offensive strikes, and providing integrated air and missile defense.

The proposed Trump Class is described as a new type of large surface combatant, with greater destructive capability than any warship currently in service. Trump asserted that the ship would be able to strike enemy targets at distances up to eighty times farther than previous classes of warships.

The battleship is expected to feature a large vertical launch missile system, enabling long-range hypersonic strikes against strategic targets beyond the reach of current naval forces. Depending on operational requirements, the ship could operate independently, serve as part of a carrier strike group, or lead its own surface action group.

Trump also stated that these next-generation warships would be equipped with hypersonic weapons and other advanced armaments, positioning them as future flagships of the U.S. Navy. Each ship, he claimed, would be fully built in the United States and would weigh between 30,000 and 40,000 tons.

Describing the vessel as the largest and heaviest warship ever constructed, Trump said it would be especially powerful in naval warfare and heavily armored. He again compared it to the historic Iowa-class battleships, claiming the Trump Class would be “one hundred times more powerful.”

According to Trump, the ships would also be equipped with electric rail guns, cruise missiles, and the world’s most advanced laser technology, with combat systems controlled using artificial intelligence.
