Trump Criticizes Media Over Reports of Damaged US Aircraft in Saudi Arabia

US President Donald Trump has expressed anger over media reports suggesting that American aircraft were damaged during the ongoing conflict, claiming that the media wants the United States to lose the war.

According to two unnamed US officials, five American aircraft stationed at Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia were struck and damaged.

Rejecting the claim, Trump said the air base had indeed been targeted a few days ago, but the aircraft were neither “damaged” nor “destroyed” as reported.

In a statement, he wrote, “The air base was hit a few days ago, but the aircraft were not ‘hit’ or ‘destroyed.’”

Trump added that four of the five aircraft suffered almost no damage and are already ready to fly again. He said one aircraft sustained slightly more damage but will also return to service soon.

He further accused the media of wishing for the United States to lose the war.
