U.S. President Donald Trump has lashed out at NATO allies, labeling them "cowards" for their refusal to assist in securing the strategic Strait of Hormuz.

In a series of provocative posts on Truth Social this Friday, the President characterized NATO as a "paper tiger" without U.S. leadership.

President Trump expressed frustration that member nations have declined to join the fight against a nuclear-armed Iran while simultaneously complaining about skyrocketing global oil prices. He argued that reopening the Strait of Hormuz is a simple military maneuver that would stabilize the energy market, yet allies remain unwilling to take the risk.

Meanwhile, Tehran has issued a stern warning to the United Kingdom, stating that allowing the U.S. to use British bases for strikes would be viewed as an "act of aggression." While Downing Street maintains it is not seeking a broader conflict, the diplomatic rift between Washington and its traditional allies continues to widen.
