U.S. President Donald Trump has announced a significant escalation in military operations against Iran, warning of a "devastating" offensive over the next two to three weeks.

In a televised address, Trump praised the success of ongoing missions, claiming that Washington has already exceeded its strategic objectives. He further intensified his rhetoric, vowing to return the nation to the "Stone Age" through imminent high-intensity strikes.

Despite the aggressive stance, the President remained silent on potential negotiations and the previously set April 6 deadline for reopening the Strait of Hormuz. His speech offered no clear roadmap for stabilizing skyrocketing global energy and commodity prices, nor did it clarify the role of NATO or the possibility of ground troop deployment.

The address drew sharp criticism from Democratic leaders, who labeled the speech "incoherent." Senators Mark Warner and Chris Murphy issued statements criticizing Trump for failing to address the economic concerns of the American people. They argued that the President's rhetoric leaves the nation uncertain about whether the administration is seeking to de-escalate or plunge deeper into a prolonged conflict.
