US President Donald Trump has said that the United States will maintain a strong military presence around Iran even if a deal is reached, warning that any violation would trigger renewed military action.
In a post on Truth Social on Wednesday, Trump stated that all US warships, aircraft, and military personnel would remain positioned near Iran until the agreement is fully implemented.
He warned that if the deal is broken for any reason, the United States would respond with attacks that are “bigger, stronger, and more extensive” than before.
Trump also claimed that under the agreement, Iran would not develop nuclear weapons and that the Strait of Hormuz would remain open and secure.
In the same post, he said the US military is currently on high alert and prepared for any future operations.
Concluding his message, Trump declared, “America is back,” signaling what he described as the restoration of US strength and global position.
