Trump Calls Google Chief Sundar Pichai a "Monster"

United States President Donald Trump has referred to Google Chief Executive Officer Sundar Pichai as a "monster." He made the remark on Tuesday while introducing Pichai during a meeting with top artificial intelligence (AI) executives at the White House.

NDTV shared a video capturing the moment, which shows Trump introducing Pichai to reporters outside the West Wing. During the introduction, Trump remarked, "This guy is a monster, but nobody knows it." He used the expression metaphorically to praise Pichai's immense influence, success, and competitive dominance in the tech industry.

Along with Pichai, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei attended the high-profile White House meeting. They discussed a new voluntary framework aimed at strengthening security and monitoring of advanced artificial intelligence systems.

Following the meeting, Sundar Pichai shared in a social media post that the "White House Accord on Super Intelligence" was signed. He noted that Google has invested billions of dollars across various tiers of AI technology over the past two years and committed to working with other industry stakeholders to build public trust while ensuring the safe development of AI.
