Bangladesh Government's 'July Warriors' gazette added 1,242 & more

The Government of Bangladesh has published a gazette notification recognizing 1,242 more individuals, who were injured in the mass uprising, as July Warriors.

The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs issued the gazette on March 5, listing the 1,242 as injured under category 'C'.

With this, a total of 3,415 people were listed as July Warriors of the July uprising 2024.

Earlier on March 4, the ministry published a gazette notification recognising 772 more individuals as July Warriors.

On February 27, the ministry released two separate gazette notifications listing 1,401 individuals as July Warriors.

The gazettes include the medical case IDs, names, parents' names and permanent addresses of the very severely injured protesters.

On January 15, a list of 834 martyrs from the mass uprising was published through a gazette.
