MUNA Michigan Branch Organizes Eid Reunion and Picnic

A lively Eid Reunion and Picnic was organized by the Muslim Ummah of North America (MUNA) Michigan Branch at the City of Warren Halmich Park. The event was presided over by MUNA Hamtramck Chapter President Shamsul Alam.

The day-long event was jointly modareted by MUNA Warren South Chapter President Abdul Ahad Chowdhury, Warren North Chapter President Mohammad Idris Ali, and North Chapter President Muhibul Hasan Chowdhury.

MUNA's National Assistant Executive Director Hafez Abdullah Al Arif was present as the Chief Guest at the Eid Reunion and Picnic. Special Guests were MUNA's Project Director Oliur Rahman, North Zone Executive Director Anwar Hossain Khokon, Executive Committee members- Korban Sunny Chowdhury, Rafiqul Islam, Habibur Rahman, Abdul Latif Azam, Shahedul Islam, Ahmed Khaled Hossain, Detroit Chapter President Shafiqul Islam and others.

In the presence of about one thousand people from the local community, the picnic entertained with age-based games, quiz competitions, delicious food, and various types of delightful activities.

In addition, the traditional Renaissance Cultural Group of Michigan presented a Pleasent Cultural Program on the occasion of Eid Reunion. The Award Giving Ceremony was attended by the Guests including Dr. Nazmul Hassan, Vice Chairman of the Democratic Party of Michigan, Islamic figure Shaykh Jindani and other community leaders.

Finally, the Chief Guest thanked the brothers and sisters of the community for participating in a wonderful event and warmly invited everyone to spontaneously join the Muslim Ummah of North America.
