Two-Day Educational Camp Held by MUNA Florida South Chapter

A successful two-day educational camp was organized by the Muslim Ummah of North America (MUNA) Florida South Chapter on July 19 and 20, 2025, at Masjid Umm-e-Hani in Florida. The Chief Guest of the event was MUNA National Assistant Executive Director and Chairman of Al-Qur’an Dawah Center Professor Dr. Ruhul Amin.

The Special Guest was MUNA South Zone Vice President Professor Nazrul Islam. The Program was presided over by Chapter President Imam Nurul Amin.

The first day began with an inaugural speech from Imam Nurul Amin. Dr. Ruhul Amin presented a Qur’anic lesson (Dars) based on verses 159–160 from Surah Al-Imran, highlighting the qualities of a true Da’ee and the noble character of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Then, Professor Nazrul Islam presented a discussion on “Love of Allah”. Dr. Ruhul Amin also conducted a session on strengthening organizational structure and developing ideal sub-chapters. Other activities of the day included memorizing verses of the Holy Quran and performing Islamic Nasheed. The first day’s program was conducted by Chapter Secretary Washir Rahman and the Nasheed was performed by West Palm Beach Sub-Chapter President Nurul Islam.

The second day’s program began with the recitation of the Great Book Al-Quran by Mr. Golam Mostofa. The lecture on Hadith was presented by Professor Dr. Ruhul Amin. Professor Nazrul Islam’s analytical discussion on improving the quality of the organization was noteworthy.

The special session of the day was a group discussion on the book “Testimony of Truth”. Dr. Ruhul Amin, in his concluding speech, gave an extensive discussion by presenting examples of implementing Islamic ideals in personal life by learning from the lives of the Companions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The camp activities ended with Professor Nazrul Islam’s prayers and supplications.
