Discussion and Cultural Evening Held in Michigan Upholding the Spirit of the July Revolution

A discussion meeting and cultural evening was organized by the Bangladeshi American Forum of Michigan, inspired by the spirit of the July Revolution. The event was held on Sunday, July 27 at 7 pm at the Iona Hall in Warren. The Chief Guest of the Program was A.M. Wahid Ahmad, Foreign Affairs Advisor to the Chairperson of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).

Special Guests included Mawlana Sohel Ahmad, a member of the Central Majlis-e-Shura of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, and Dewan Akmal Chowdhury, President of Michigan BNP among others. Members of the Bangladeshi American Forum of Michigan and local expatriate community were present at the event.

The event was presided over by the Forum's President Shahedul Islam. The Forum's Secretary Hamid Khan and Assistant Secretary Fahad Ahmed were hosted the program. Shaikh Mawlana Rafiqul Islam led the prayers and supplications.

The discussion was followed by a delightful Cultural Evening. Artists from the Renessa Cultural Group of Michigan presented patriotic songs and a July Drama.
