NEWS DESKThe Muslim Ummah of North America (MUNA) Connecticut Chapter organized a fascinating and heartwarming picnic along with the much-anticipated Children’s Competition 2025 Prize Ceremony at the MUNA Center of Connecticut. The event was drawing close to 200 attendees for a day of celebration and joyful family gathering.
The opening speech of the event was delivered by MUNA Connecticut Chapter President Mujir Uddin. He gave an inspiring remarks highlighted the importance of unity, youth engagement, and the role of MUNA in nurturing future generations. The program was smoothly hosted by Chapter Secretary Ataul Shahed, who welcomed the audience and kept the day’s activities flowing with great enthusiasm.
The main attraction of the event was the Children’s Competition Prizes Ceremony 2025, featuring awards for various competitions including sports, quizzes, and cultural presentations. The segment was hosted by Brother Abdur Rahim, Assistant Director of the Communication, Media, and Cultural Department of the Connecticut Chapter, who praised the children's talents and dedication.
In addition to the prize distribution, guests enjoyed a variety of outdoor games, quiz compititions and delicious food making it a joyful and memorable occasion for families and children alike.
The event concluded with a strong sense of community spirit and a shared commitment to continue fostering Islamic values, education, and cultural enrichment among the childern and youth.
