NEWS DESKThe Hamtramck Chapter of the Muslim Ummah of North America - MUNA organized a worker training seminar on 21st September at the Michigan Chapter's Detroit office.
The event was presided over by Chapter President Mr. Shamsul Islam and moderated by Secretary Mr. Md. Badruzzaman.
The keynote speaker was Maulana Khairul Hasan Rafiq, National Publication Secretary of MUNA. In his address, he emphasized the importance of Islamic dawah (outreach) activities and the need for organized efforts to bring about constructive contributions to society.
Special guest Mr. Qurbani Sani Chowdhury, North Zone Director of Manpower Development, delivered a directive speech focusing on skill development of workers and effective organizational leadership.
The seminar began with a Qur’anic reflection (Dars-e-Qur’an) presented by Hafiz Rayhan Uddin, Khatib of Al-Falah Mosque in Detroit. He elaborated on the responsibilities and sincerity of workers in light of the Qur’an.
Also speaking at the event were Mr. Shafiqul Islam, President of MUNA’s Detroit Chapter, and Imam Nesar Uddin Ahmed of CDR Mosque. They highlighted the importance of expanding MUNA’s dawah activities, fostering positive change within the community, and engaging the youth in organizational efforts.
All speakers emphasized the need to strengthen MUNA’s dawah and training initiatives and expressed a collective commitment to organizing such programs on a broader scale in the future.
