NEWS DESKOn October 4th (Saturday), the Muslim Ummah of North America - MUNA East Zone held its Regional Educational Seminar at the Silver Spring Muslim Community Center. The seminar was attended by members from the Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC chapters.
The chief guest of the seminar was MUNA National President Imam Delaware Hossain, with special guests MUNA National Assistant Executive Director Ahmed Abu Obaydah, Hafiz Abdullah Al Arif, MUNA East Zone President Mahmudul Kadir Tafadar, and Secretary Muhammad Humayun Kabir.
The seminar began with an opening speech by MUNA East Zone President Mahmudul Kadir Tafadar, who highlighted the purpose and significance of MUNA’s initiatives and programs. Following this, MUNA National Assistant Executive Director Ahmed Abu Ubaidah addressed the seminar on the topic of "Preparation for the Hereafter."
After Ahmed Abu Obaidah's presentation, a Q&A session was held, moderated by the chief guest Imam Delwar Hossain and special guest Hafiz Abdullah Al Arif.
Following the prayer and lunch break, MUNA National Assistant Executive Director Hafiz Abdullah Al Arif spoke on the commitment and responsibilities of each member in the Islamic movement, emphasizing the importance of fulfilling one’s duties with sincerity.
Later, the chief guest, Imam Delaware Hossain, delivered a valuable speech on the unity of the Muslim Ummah and the responsibilities of workers, urging the participants to stay committed to their roles within the community.
In the closing remarks, MUNA East Zone Secretary Muhammad Humayun Kabir conducted a self-reflective discussion, reiterating the importance of the seminar and its impact.
It is worth mentioning that before the prayer break, there was a meeting for the Chapter Executive Committee, Sub-Chapter Presidents, Secretaries, and Treasurers. Afterward, there was a meeting with the National Team.
