Bangladeshi-American Community in Michigan Hosts Reception for Jamaat-e-Islami Chief Dr. Shafiqur Rahman

On October 25 (Saturday), the Bangladeshi American Community of Michigan organized a public reception in honor of Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, the Ameer (chief) of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, during his visit to Michigan.

The event took place at the Gates of Columbus Convention Hall in Hamtramck, Michigan — a city known for its vibrant Bangladeshi-American community.

Among the notable attendees were Anisur Rahman Gazi, National Assistant Executive Director of MUNA (Muslim Ummah of North America), and Ahmad Abu Ubaida.

The program also featured a cultural performance by the Renesa Cultural Group, adding a festive touch to the evening’s proceedings.
