MUNA Youth Upstate NYZ Hosts Annual Zonal Qiyam at Buffalo Islamic Cultural Center

MUNA Youth Upstate NYZ successfully held its annual Zonal Qiyam at the Buffalo Islamic Cultural Center Inc. (BICC). The primary objective of this Qiyam was to provide a meaningful alternative for the youth during the festivities of Halloween, offering them an opportunity to engage in spiritual reflection and unity.

The event saw participation from local youth, guests, and community members. The gathering emphasized the values of brotherhood and unity, reinforcing the importance of strengthening bonds through faith (deen).

The organizers expressed their gratitude to everyone involved, including the guests and the shepherds, whose support allowed the event to flourish. As stated by the organizers, "True brotherhood lives in unity, it grows in bond, and it strengthens with deen."

The organizers emphasized that Zonal Qiyam aimed not only to distract from the distractions of Halloween but also to nurture a sense of community and spirituality among the youth, encouraging them to connect with their faith and fellow brothers and sisters.
