The U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations - USCMO organized a fundraising dinner on December 14 at the Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge in Chicago. Leaders of various Muslim organizations, community activists, and distinguished guests from across the United States attended the event.
Professor Dr. Ruhul Amin, Assistant Executive Director of the Muslim Ummah of North America - MUNA, attended the program as a special guest and delivered a keynote speech. In his remarks, he said that regardless of race, nationality, or ethnicity, Muslims share a single identity—they are Muslims and followers of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He emphasized that unity and brotherhood within the Muslim Ummah are essential, noting that remaining united is a clear command from Allah and that unity strengthens the Muslim community.
Dr. Ruhul Amin further stated that in the current global context, there is no alternative to mutual cooperation and unity among Muslims. He called upon Muslims in North America to work collectively to strengthen their rights, dignity, and social standing.
At the conclusion of his speech, he praised USCMO for its tireless efforts in promoting unity among Muslims and expressed his best wishes for the organization’s continued success.
