MUNA East Zone Graduate Students Education Camp 2025 Successfully Held

The Muslim Ummah of North America - MUNA East Zone successfully organized the Graduate Students Education Camp 2025 from December 26–28 at the Ramada Hotel in Wilmington, Delaware. Graduate students from various states within the East Zone participated in the three-day educational event.

Key speakers at the camp included National President Imam Dalouer Hossain, National Vice President Abu Ahmed Nuruzzaman, National Assistant Executive Director Abdullah Al Arif, Ahmad Abu Ubayda, North Carolina Chapter President Prof. Dr. Abdullah Noman, and MUNA East Zone President Mahmudul Kadir Tafader.

The camp featured sessions such as Darsul Quran, Darsul Hadith, thematic lectures, training workshops, group discussions, and Q&A sessions. According to the organizers, the primary goal of the camp was to instill Islamic values, discipline, and organizational responsibility among graduate students, preparing them to take an active and effective role in MUNA’s leadership and community activities in the future.

The sessions were moderated by PhD Fellow Mehedi Hasan from West Virginia University, and the camp was inaugurated with remarks by Dr. Redwan Bin Abdul Baten.

MUNA East Zone President Mahmudul Kadir Tafader delivered a special session on MUNA’s organizational structure and leadership, while National Assistant Executive Director Prof. Dr. Ruhul Amin analyzed the topic of “Islamic Movement and Bunyanum Marsus” through a Darsul Quran session.

The workshop session was conducted by North Carolina Chapter President Prof. Dr. Abdullah Noman, focusing on managing ego in a capitalist society. Insights on the future of the Islamic movement in the coming decades were shared by National Vice President Abu Ahmed Nuruzzaman.

In the Darsul Hadith session, National Assistant Executive Director Abdullah Al Arif delivered a talk on “Life under Oath”, highlighting the importance of morality, commitment, and responsibility in both personal and social life.

A special session titled “Shaping the Future Together: Role of Graduate Students in MUNA” was conducted by National President Imam Dalouer Hossain.

The camp concluded with closing remarks by Mahmudul Kadir Tafader, marking the official end of the Education Camp.

Participants expressed that the MUNA East Zone Education Camp provided valuable knowledge and guidance and will play a vital role in developing future leaders within the community.
