On February 14 (Saturday) after Maghrib, the New Jersey North Chapter of Muslim Ummah of North America - MUNA organized a “Welcome Ramadan Mahfil” at the Masjid Adam Center.
Due to the lack of separate arrangements for women, the program was broadcast live through the official Facebook page of Masjid Adam, allowing sisters and community members to join the event virtually.
The program began with an opening address by Abdul Mannan, President of MUNA New Jersey North Chapter, who emphasized the importance of spiritual preparation, self-purification, and strengthening one’s relationship with Allah in anticipation of the holy month of Ramadan.
The Chief Guest of the event was Ahmad Abu Ubayda, National Assistant Executive Director of MUNA. In his remarks, he praised the initiative and highlighted the significance of welcoming Ramadan in a spiritually uplifting and brotherly environment. He encouraged the community to utilize the blessed month for personal development, increased worship, and greater unity.
The program also featured Qur’an recitation and nasheed performances by members of MUNA Youth and MUNA Children’s Department, adding a vibrant and inspirational atmosphere to the gathering.
The event concluded in a spiritually enriching environment, warmly welcoming the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan.
