A discussion titled “Parenting Problems” was held on Saturday, April 11, organized by the New York South Zone (NYSZ). The event took place at Baitul Mamur Mosque, where various challenges faced by parents and their possible solutions were discussed in detail.

Dr. Mohammad Abdul Bari, a distinguished guest from London, attended the program as the chief guest. In his speech, he highlighted the challenges parents face in raising children in the modern era, emphasizing the importance of strengthening family bonds and nurturing children based on Islamic values.

Among others present were MUNA National President and Imam-Khatib of Baitul Mamur Mosque, Mawlana Delwar Hossain; MUNA National Assistant Director Hafiz Abdullah Al Arif; MUNA New York South Zone Manpower Development Director Jamsad; MUNA Social Service President Sujon; MUNA South Zone President Emdad Ullah; MUNA New York South Zone Manpower Development Director Belal Uddin; MUNA Ozone Park Chapter President Abdul Jabbar; MUNA City Line President Abdul Razzaq; MUNA New York South Zone Nahar Director Abdus Sattar; and MUNA Brooklyn East Chapter President Mohammad M. Siraji.

Speakers noted that in today’s world, increasing reliance on technology, social changes, and busy family lives have made proper parenting more challenging. They stressed that raising awareness among parents and strengthening communication within families are essential.

During the session, parents shared their experiences and concerns and received practical guidance from experts. The organizers expressed hope that such awareness programs will continue in the future.
