MUNA Center of New York Hosts Interfaith Gathering and Dinner to Promote Unity and Understanding

The MUNA Center of New York, an initiative of the Muslim Ummah of North America - MUNA, recently organized an interfaith gathering and dinner program aimed at strengthening mutual understanding, peace, cooperation, and harmony among people of different faiths and backgrounds.

The event brought together religious leaders, community figures, and social activists representing diverse faith communities. Organizers said the program was designed to foster stronger relationships, encourage dialogue, and promote collaboration for the greater good of society.

Among those present were Dr. Ruhul Amin, National Assistant Director of MUNA; Abdul Razzak, President of MUNA City Line Chapter; Akramul Haque, Chapter Secretary; Musharraf Hossain, New York City teacher and Hafiz of the Holy Qur’an; Imam Bilal Hossain of Baitul Noor Mosque; Abdus Sattar, NAHAR New York South Zone and Relief Director; and Tariq, CPA and member of MUNA South Ozone Park, along with other community leaders and representatives.

Speakers highlighted the importance of peace, compassion, mutual respect, and collective efforts in serving humanity. They emphasized that meaningful dialogue and interaction among people of different religions and cultures play a vital role in strengthening social cohesion and community harmony.

Participants also exchanged views and underscored the importance of building stronger relationships across faith and cultural lines. Organizers expressed their gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the event through their support and cooperation.

The program concluded with a dinner, providing attendees with an opportunity to continue networking and strengthening community ties.
