MUNA Pennsylvania South Chapter Holds Family Night Program

The Pennsylvania South Chapter of the Muslim Ummah of North America - MUNA organized a Family Night Program on August 10 (Monday) at the MUNA Center of Upper Darby Mosque (MCUD).

The program was chaired by Belal Mia and conducted by MUNA Pennsylvania South Chapter Secretary Mohammad Enamul Alam. Maulana Abu Siddiq Abdul Awal attended as the chief guest, while Ridwan Faisal delivered a special address for the youth.

In his keynote speech, Maulana Abu Siddiq Abdul Awal highlighted the importance of building a beautiful and ideal family life based on Islamic values. He particularly discussed how Muslim families living in the United States can maintain their family life in accordance with Islamic principles amid the country's social environment.

Drawing on the Quran and Hadith, he also discussed family responsibilities, mutual relationships, and various aspects of an Islamic way of life.

Addressing the youth in English, Ridwan Faisal delivered an inspirational and guidance-focused speech on achieving success on the Day of Judgment. He emphasized that while young people should aspire to succeed as doctors, engineers, and professionals in other fields, they should also prepare for ultimate success in the Hereafter. He stressed the importance of using time wisely, maintaining patience, and cultivating taqwa.

The program also featured Islamic songs performed by local artists Saifuddin Russell, Hafizur Rahman, and Nazrul Islam Sobuj. Young performers Nusaiba Nazmin, Arisha Saif, Junaira Anam, and Afiza also presented Islamic songs.

The organizers expressed their gratitude to the volunteers who worked throughout the day to ensure the smooth execution of the program, particularly in food service and overall event management. Among those recognized were Hafizur Rahman, Abu Bakkar Siddique, Yasin Arafat Rajib, Ali Asgar, Sahadat Hossain Arzu, Saifuddin Russell, Kawsar Rahman, Abdullah Al Mamun, and Zulfikar Ali, among others.

The event began at 6:30 p.m. and formally concluded after Maghrib prayer. More than 170 people attended the program.

Following the main event, dinner was served to guests, worshippers, and participants, marking the formal conclusion of the MUNA Pennsylvania South Chapter's Family Night Program.
