Members of Kandari Group Paid Courtesy Call on Anisur Rahman Gazi

Members of the Kandari Cultural Group paid a courtesy visit to Anisur Rahman Gazi, National Assistant Executive Director of Muslim Ummah of North America - MUNA and Founder of the Kandari Cultural Group.

The courtesy meeting was held on February 9 at the residence of Anisur Rahman Gazi. Among those present were Mohammad Ismail Hossain, Director of Media,Communication and Cultural Department of MUNA West Zone; Rezaul Karim, Director of the Kandari Group; Assistant Director Abdul Bari Yusuf; along with other members of the organization.

During the visit, members of the Kandari Cultural Group performed Nasheed and offered special prayers seeking good health and a long life for Anisur Rahman Gazi.

On January 20, while on a flight from Bangladesh to Los Angeles, Muna National Assistant Executive Director Anisur Rahman Gazi suddenly felt chest pain. Later, when the plane made an emergency landing in Canada, he was quickly admitted to a local hospital. After initial tests, he underwent open heart surgery on the advice of doctors.
