Pro-Palestinian demonstrators staged a protest outside the hotel where Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was staying during his visit to Washington, D.C., while he was having dinner inside.

The protest took place on Monday at the Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown, where several demonstrators entered the hotel lobby, creating a tense situation. They attempted to reach the restaurant where Netanyahu was dining.

Security personnel and law enforcement officers quickly intervened and escorted the protesters out of the building. As they were removed, demonstrators chanted, "Bibi, Bibi, you can't hide. We charge you with genocide," referring to Netanyahu by his nickname.

Heavy Security During Washington Visit

The incident occurred amid tight security surrounding Netanyahu's visit to the U.S. capital. During the trip, he attended the funeral of Senator Lindsey Graham and held talks with U.S. President Donald Trump. Meetings with other senior U.S. officials were also scheduled.

Demonstrations Spread Across Washington

Following the hotel incident, protests expanded across Washington, with hundreds of demonstrators marching toward the White House and other government buildings.

Protesters waved Palestinian flags, beat drums and buckets, and carried banners opposing Netanyahu's visit. Using megaphones, they called on the U.S. government to enforce the International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant issued against the Israeli leader.

The demonstrators also condemned U.S. support for Israel's military campaign in Gaza.

Protesters Call for Netanyahu's Arrest

One protester said:

"Benjamin Netanyahu is a war criminal. The only place for him is an ICC prison. An arrest warrant has already been issued against him. I don't want my tax dollars used to protect someone like that."

Another demonstrator added:

"We demand that the U.S. government comply with the ICC warrant, arrest Netanyahu, and hand him over to the ICC so he can stand trial over allegations of genocide against Palestinians."

Strong Security Presence

A large number of police officers and U.S. Secret Service personnel were deployed throughout the area to maintain security.

During the demonstrations, protesters displayed banners reading "Stop the U.S.-Israeli war machine" and "Expose Israel's control over Washington."
