Mechanical Glitch Delays PM Tarique Rahman’s Flight from Japan to Dhaka

A Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and his entourage has been delayed at Narita International Airport in Japan due to a mechanical problem.

The information was disclosed in a press release issued by the public relations department of Biman Bangladesh Airlines on Thursday.

According to the statement, flight BG 377, carrying the prime minister and his entourage, was unable to depart for Dhaka at its scheduled time because of the technical issue.

The airline’s flight crew and engineering team are working to resolve the problem, the statement said.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines added that further updates would be provided in due course.
