MUNA Los Angeles Chapter Holds Street Dawah Program

As part of MUNA Dawah Month 2026, the Dawah Team of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Muslim Ummah of North America (MUNA) organized a street dawah program on June 21. The outreach event was held at the corner of Vermont Avenue and Third Street in Los Angeles.

During the program, volunteers distributed copies of the Holy Qur’an, MUNA informational materials, Islamic dawah books, a large number of leaflets, gift items, candy, and bottled water among pedestrians and interested community members.

The theme of this year’s Dawah Month was “Every Soul is Searching, Islam Gives Direction.”

According to the organizers, the purpose of the initiative was to convey Islam’s message of peace, harmony, and humanity to people from all walks of life. MUNA leaders, members, and volunteers actively participated in the outreach effort, engaging with community members and sharing information about Islam and the organization’s activities.

Organizers emphasized that such dawah initiatives serve as an effective means of fostering understanding and building positive relationships within the broader community.
