Muslim Ummah of North America - MUNA Social Services organized a day-long Community Fest on Saturday, June 27, in front of Baitul Ma'mur Mosque and Community Center in Brooklyn, New York. The festive event attracted a large number of participants from different parts of the United States.

Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, MUNA National President Imam Dalouer Hossain said that conflicts and unrest are increasing across the world. He emphasized that humanity needs to embrace the teachings of Islam to achieve lasting peace and well-being. He also noted that strengthening family values, guiding the younger generation with Islamic principles, and serving society remain among MUNA's primary objectives.
The program was chaired by Shafayat Hossain Safa, Director of MUNA Social Services. Among the speakers were Arman Chowdhury, National Executive Director of MUNA; Abdullah Al Arif, Assistant Executive Director; Democratic candidate for New York's 7th Congressional District Claire Valdez; Councilwoman Sandy Nurse; Democratic Assembly candidate David Orkin; along with officials from the New York City administration and the New York Police Department (NYPD).

The event featured amusement rides for children, Islamic cultural performances, an Islamic book fair, seasonal fruits, sherbet, and refreshments. Meals were also served to approximately 2,500 to 3,000 attendees.
The organizers said that events like the Community Fest help strengthen family ties, promote Islamic values, and encourage greater community engagement through social service initiatives.
