General Education Session Held by MUNA Brooklyn West Chapter

During discussion of Chief guest MUNA National Assistant Director

On Wednesday, October 8th, the Muslim Ummah of North America - MUNA Brooklyn West Chapter organized a General Education Session at the Brooklyn Islamic Center.

The session commenced at 6 PM under the presidency of Chapter President Mojibur Rahman Ripon. The event was moderated by Dawah Secretary Nasir Uddin Bhuiyan.

The session was graced by the presence of MUNA National Assistant Director Ahmed Abu Obaydah as the Chief Guest. Special Guest AKM Saiful Alam, Secretary of MUNA New York South Zone, also attended the program.

The session began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Dawah Assistant Secretary Maulana Aflatun Kawser, followed by the welcome address from Chapter Secretary Muhammad Helal Uddin.

The registration process was managed by Baitul Mal Secretary Fawaz Uddin and Assistant Secretary Muhammad Shamsul Islam.

Maulana Emdad Ullah, President of MUNA Brooklyn South Zone, delivered a Qur’anic lecture, discussing in depth how a believer should live their daily life in light of the Qur’an and Hadith.

The keynote speaker, Fazle Rabbi, Dawah Secretary of Brooklyn South Zone, emphasized that every Muslim must take on the role of a Da’ee (caller to Islam) and that acquiring knowledge is the first step in fulfilling this responsibility.

Chief Guest and prominent Islamic scholar Ahmed Abu Obaydah elaborated on Islamic politics in light of the Qur’an and Hadith, offering valuable insights for the audience.

The session concluded with a closing prayer (du'a) and an ihtesab (self-accountability reflection).

Audience

Dinner was served to all attendees at the end of the program.
