MUNA East Zone Successfully Concludes Regional Education Conference 2025 in Connecticut

Muslim Ummah of North America - MUNA's East Zone successfully held its Regional Education Conference, at the MUNA Center of Connecticut (MCC). The day-long conference, held on Saturday, November 8, brought together participants and chapter representatives from Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Jersey North Chapter.

The conference began with breakfast and registration, followed by a Quran recitation and opening remarks delivered by Mohammed Humayun Kabir, Secretary of MUNA East Zone.

The keynote address, titled “The Quran – Divine Guidance for All Mankind and the Path to Ultimate Success,” was presented by Mahmudul Kadir Tafader, President of MUNA East Zone. He highlighted the importance of the Quran as a guiding framework for achieving both spiritual and worldly success.

A question-and-answer session was conducted by Ahmed Abu Ubaydah, National Assistant Executive Director of MUNA, providing participants an opportunity to engage in reflective discussion. This was followed by a meeting of the Chapter Executive Committee, Sub-Chapter Presidents, Secretaries, Treasurers, and senior members, focusing on organizational accountability and development.

After Duhor prayer and a lunch break, Safayat Hussain Safa, National Director of MUNA Social Service, spoke on “Commitment and Responsibility as an Islamic Activist,” emphasizing dedication, sincerity, and responsibility in community service.

Later in the afternoon, Ahmed Abu Ubaydah delivered a motivational address, followed by Ehtesab and concluding remarks from Mahmudul Kadir Tafader.

In addition to the main sessions, the event featured chapter audits, Quran and Hadith memorization activities, and a book study on MUNA’s mission and principles.

Organizers stated that the conference successfully fostered unity among members, strengthened leadership capacities, and reaffirmed MUNA’s ongoing commitment to promoting Islamic values, education, and social responsibility across North America.
