The Pennsylvania South Chapter of the Muslim Ummah of North America - MUNA successfully organized a “Health Awareness Seminar 2026” on May 14 at the MUNA Center Mosque in Upper Darby.

The seminar was presided over by Chapter President Belal Mia and conducted by Chapter Secretary Mohammad Enamul Alam. The program began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Nesar Ahmed Chowdhury, followed by opening remarks from Belal Mia.

The keynote presentation was delivered by renowned speaker Professor Dr. Mujibul Haque, who discussed important health-related issues. His presentation focused on how healthy living can be maintained without dependence on medication through changes in natural eating habits and lifestyle. He particularly emphasized balanced diets, natural food habits, and regular exercise as essential components of a healthy life.

Following a break for Maghrib prayer, the second session of the seminar began with an interactive question-and-answer segment. Dr. Haque responded to questions from attendees and also provided free medical advice to participants. He later offered one-on-one consultations, giving personalized health guidance based on individual concerns.

The event’s discipline and overall coordination were managed by Hafizur Rahman, Noman Siddiqui, Akhtar Hossain, Mawlana Anwar Hossain, and other local volunteers.

In the closing remarks, Chapter Secretary Mohammad Enamul Alam thanked all attendees for their participation. The seminar concluded with the distribution of the MUNA 2026 calendar among participants.
