Kandari Cultural Group Hosts Naat-e-Rasul (PBUH) Evening in California

Kandari Cultural Group Los Angeles organized a Naat-e-Rasul (PBUH) evening on Friday, August 21, at Hollywood Mosque in Los Angeles to mark the blessed month of Rabi’ al-Awwal. The program began at 8:15 p.m. and was attended by a large number of community members and spectators.
LThe event was also livestreamed on the official Facebook page of Kandari Cultural Group Los Angeles, allowing audiences beyond the venue to join the program.
Among those present were Anisur Rahman Gazi, National Director of MUNA’s Communication, Media and Cultural Department and Founder and Director of Kandari Cultural Group, and Abdul Mannan, Chief Adviser of the organization.
The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, conducted by Kamruzzaman Shimul, a member of Kandari Cultural Group. The event was hosted by Engineer Ismail Hossain, Communication, Media and Cultural Director of MUNA West Zone, and Md. Rezaul Karim, Director of Kandari Cultural Group. Following the Quran recitation, Chief Adviser Abdul Mannan delivered a welcome address.
The Naat and Nasheed segment began with a Hamd led by Anisur Rahman Gazi and Kandari’s Assistant Director Sadikullah Al Hamim. Later, the artists performed several Nasheeds individually and collectively. Special performances by child artists were also a highlight of the evening.
During the program, Anisur Rahman Gazi paid tribute to the memory of renowned Islamic poet Matiur Rahman Mallik and performed one of his Nasheeds.
Abdul Bari Yusuf, one of Kandari’s Assistant Directors and a teacher of the organization’s child artists, was injured in a road accident the night before the event. He was connected to the program by phone, and the audience was requested to pray for his speedy recovery.
Towards the conclusion of the program, Anisur Rahman Gazi introduced the members and performers of Kandari Cultural Group and expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to organizing and supporting the event.
The Naat-e-Rasul (PBUH) evening concluded with a special dua.
